Some Recent Pieces Summer 2015

Wow, I miss my blog. I've had this thing for a loooong time. Instagram, Facebook and Twitter have kind of taken over as my primary ways of sharing art and creative updates/tidbits. However, this is still my favorite format, may it never die.

Anyway, lots has been going on since I've been away. I'm working on my own creator owned comic book series. Battle Skull, yes the same Battle Skull that was originally going to be a full color illustrated book. I decided to go with the comic book format because comics are my first and greatest love as far as visual storytelling is concerned and I can get a lot more story content/concepts across to readers through this medium. I'm very excited about Battle Skull. It's been a slow, slow process pulling everything together but I should have something printed and ready for consumption by this winter. There will be a Battle Skull #0 followed by a three issue mini-series introducing this character and his exciting world. I'm sure you're going to enjoy it. Stay tuned!
