Battle Skull plus

Some process stuff here. I have been plugging away on my special project, Battle Skull. I'm loving every second of it. Starting above, you can see the steps I went through for this particular Battle Skull piece. I began with a rough doodle, tightened up the pencils then inked it up! Now I'm going to move onto color. You'll have to pick up a copy of Battle Skull to feat your eyes on that! I do not have a release date in mind for the book. I'm taking the time to make it right. Stay tuned here for updates.

At the end of this post there are two versions of a black and white portfolio illustration I completed recently, little bonus for ya.
