I'm excited about comics again...
Joe Madureira's Avenging Spiderman
It's been a rough few years it seems as far as comic book art goes. A lot of my favorite artists weren't doing much. It looks like that is going to change big time in the next few months. I'm pumped.
Joe Madureira is pencilling The Avenging Spiderman. Jim Lee is pencilling JLA. David Finch is relaunching his Dark Knight series. Greg Capullo's doing Batman work. Marc Silvestri is on Hulk. There are rumblings of a secret project from Travis Charest involving Captain America and Wolverine. These are all dream projects to a comic art geek like myself.
Featured in this post are images attached to some of the projects mentioned above. It's great to see these giant creators contributing to the incredible medium of comics again. I can't wait to fork over my hard earned cash for this stuff.
