More from the observational sketchbook... Most of these were done on my lunch break using Google Images. I have really been loving drawing more from observation. I find myself doing less cartooning lately and more of this kind of stuff. Hopefully it pays off and helps me grow as an artist. I hope to find time to do more careful studies eventually. For now, enjoy the doodles!!

The drawing below was done from life. That's my pooch, Petey chillin' in my bed.

The geese drawings below were drawn from life at Tully Park in New Hyde Park, one of my favorite spots on Earth.

Thanks for visiting!!

I love these. A question though: When you say you are doing them on Google Images--does that mean you are using a mouse to draw them? Or do you have one of those little pen/pads that link to your computer via USB?

Also, awesome FF one.

Thanks, J. When I say Google Image, this means I am just searching through google images, finding an image/subject I like and using the image as reference for a sketch in my sketchbook. I use traditional media to complete all of these drawings, pen and sketchbook paper. Thanks again for dropping by!
