Figure drawing round 2 or 1.5... I went to a life drawing session again last night. I showed up late due to work. I only got to do a few drawings, hence the clever "1.5" in the title of this post. The session was great but I would have enjoyed having a bit more time. I'm already looking forward to the next session whenever it may be!

Below is an unrelated sketch I figured I would feature for variety's sake. It kind of looks like an observational drawing but it's totally faked, fresh from my noggin'.

In off topic geek news, the only thing aside from art books I found exciting about San Diego Comic Con 2009 was the Image Comics panel, check it out...http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=22264 Image continues to be an exciting publisher. I'm pumped for Robert Kirkman and Todd McFarlane's "Haunt", McFarlane drawing Spawn #200 and Image United looks sweet (I hope they get Jim Lee to contribute!). In my opinion, the other major publishers were kind of boring this year as far as the news they broke at the show.
