I'm just posting a single image for this post, rare for me. I drew this a few days ago and just scanned it in. I was definitely inspired by Frank Frazetta before scribblin' this bad boy. I was flipping through some of my many Frazetta books before I put pencil/pen to paper.

In other art geek news...New York Comic Con 2009 is fast approaching. Some incredible creators are attending. Personally, I am looking forward to tracking down and bothering Keron Grant, Lesean Thomas, Alvin Lee, Sean Gordon Murphy, Eric Canete, Olivier Coipel, Sean Cheeks Galloway (? think he'll be there) and a whole bunch more that I can't remember at the moment. Hopefully I'll come away with some fun stories and sketches to share here.
Sadly, I won't have a table at NYCC this year. My buds and I will be attending strictly as fan boys. Well, maybe not quite so strictly, we will be handing out postcards when we can to promote our new webcomic. I'll be dropping details on that bad boy here real soon, hopefully in the next couple of days!
