Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays! It's that time of year again! Above is the cover to the Bontebok Design 2008 Holiday Card (www.bontebokdesign.com). It was a blast working on this. I got to pretend I was my heroes J.C. Leyendecker and Norman Rockwell composing a special holiday cover for the Saturday Evening Post! Of course, I have perhaps 1 billionth of the talent those titans posses...but that didn't spoil my fun. I (the bigger fella on the right side of the cover) did the original pencils and my Bontebok Design teammate, Jon Wood (the skinny guy on the left side of the cover.), cleaned them up on the computer. We collaborated on the colors. Jon provided some nice card paper and printed up copies so we could spread the holiday joy! This went out to family, friends, clients, and the like.
