Fresh doodles... Wanted to share are a few fun sketches I've blurted out over the past weeks. Been working hard on Bontebok Comics #2 and another comic book project with a buddy.

Geek note: Ed Mcguinness' first issue of Hulk hit the shelves this week. Ed's one of my old favorites and I think his work on this book is standout, it's looking real nice. His stuff has wonderful structure, volume and energy. Ed's style is also super clean and clear which makes for smooth storytelling. Dexter Vines kicks on inks too! The writing was OK, nothing mind blowing happening but seems like it will be a fun ride. Hopefully we'll see more Hulk action in coming issues, that's when we'll really see Ed cut loose.

Ultimate Human #1 also came out recently. This was another solid book that I really enjoyed. Cary Nord just gets better and better with every project. His elegant, impressionistic, minimalism gets me every time. Warren Ellis did a great job on the script and the story looks like it will be interesting. All in all a very solid book and I can't wait for more.

On a personal note, I haven't been able to enjoy my free drawing time as much lately as I am currently unemployed so I feel a bit guilty sitting down and drawing while not making any money. Sucks to feel this way, but I still have fun drawing for sure. Hopefully my job hunt turns for the better soon. Any passers-by that could offer a sweet job on Long Island, Manhattan, or any surrounding area, art related or not, be sure to drop me a line!

Thanks for dropping by, hope you enjoy the scribbles!
