Ultimates 3 and junk...

So, Ultimates 3 #1 hit stores this week! This was a huge event for a Joe Madureira fanatic like myself. Joe did not disappoint, sadly the print job on the book did. It printed way too dark, making it hard to fully appreciate Joe's pencils and Chris Lichtner's original colors. I hope this problem is corrected for the second printing of issue #1 and the remaining issues of the series. Despite the printing issue, I still enjoyed the hell out of reading a story fully illustrated by Joe. As for the writing and story in Ultimates 3, it was OK, nothing amazing, if Joe wasn't drawing it I wouldn't be reading it. I have to say as far as comics go, I would rather see Joe return to his own far more interesting property, Battle Chasers, but I'll take whatever I can get. I look forward to the remainder of Ultimates 3 and Joe's upcoming videogame, Darksiders.
Below are some random sketches I'd scanned in a while back. I wanted to put up a little something besides my geeky Ultimates rant, so enjoy...
