Squeezin' in a HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
I've been way too lax about getting posts up. Working full time isn't really a great excuse, but it's all I've got. Anyway, Happy Halloween. I hope everyone who cares to gets a chance to down some tasty treats and catch a good horror flic.
Below are some sketches that really have nothing to do with Halloween, I just wanted to dump 'em on ya. My sister challenged me to draw a few models from her fashion mags. I welcomed this as I know one of my greatest weaknesses as an artist is drawing from observation. Just doing these quick drawings from photos really made the rest of my drawings done the same evening feel stronger. I need to do more of this and maybe one day I'll get a somewhat decent likeness...

Hey man, awesome new sketches! Good to see the Ice cream kid again. The representational chicks you drew are great too.
Thanks for dropping by man. Glad you like the new stuff. I had to bring the ice cream kid back as I was in a rush for a quick Halloween sketch. I thought of consuming mass amounts of candy and he came to mind right away.
Nice stuff! Thanks for commenting on my blog. I have a book on lulu.com called Nispa Ainu Chieftain. Go to http://stores.lulu.com/okoyadesigns.
