Fresh Skatches! It feels like it's been a bit of a while since my last post, longer than usual at least. So here are some things I had stored up on my comp.

The first image at the top of the post is brand new though. I just scribbled it moments ago on the corner of a booklet about the water supply on Earth, far more interesting and important stuff than my sketch. I liked the color and texture of the paper so I thought it was worth posting.
I've been trying to push the exaggeration and energy in my drawing lately, silly stuff seems to be the recurring result.

Though I have mastered none, I like working in different styles, or attempting too at least. I think different kinds of stories call for different styles, approaches, and not always the obvious ones.

Some artists recommendations for my billions of readers, just in case you haven't stumbled upon these great talents yet...

Bill Presing - http://billpresing.blogspot.com/ great story artist at Pixar.
Rafael Grampa - http://furrywater.wordpress.com/ fantastic designer and budding comic book artist! I can't wait for his comic "Mesmo Delivery" set to debut at San Diego Comic Con. Newsarama article featuring more of his work, http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=106178
Travis Charest - http://groups.msn.com/travischarest/ yeah I know I am not uncovering anything new here, if you don't know Travis' stuff though it's a must see, one of my all time favorite artists. There has been a flurry of activity concerning his work recently as he is rumored to be working for Marvel! He has also been posting a good amount of art on his MSN site so anybody interested should pay a visit.
Wow, pretty lengthy post, just a little smattering of what's on my mind right now.
Thanks for visiting!

Hey, nice new sketches! The first one with the flying one is awesome, nice shapes for the arm, and all.
