Fresh doodles...

Not much to say about these doodles. Just fun stuff that happened very fast and free.

I'd like to mention a cool book I took out at my local library recently that provided me with some great inspiration. It's called "Paper Dreams: The Art and Artists Of Disney Storyboards" by John Canemaker. This book is fantastic. It is loaded with Disney storyboard artwork from past through present. There are so many great artists featured here from a nice long section on Bill Peet to some cool boards from "Rescuers Down Under" by Glen Keane. If you are into animation, drawing, storytelling, pretty pictures, or whatever check this book out. The book stresses the importance of story in animation and the rich history of the storyboard form at Disney Animation.

I leave you with a goofy watercolor sketch of "ice cream shirt kid" or "Billy Sausage Fat" as one person has called him...

Thanks for dropping by!

Bwahaa! Yeah, I guess we will go with "Billy Sausage Fat". That is just an out of control name for a clearly out of control character.
