Back from Heroes Con. Well, I've actually been back since Sunday night but I didn't get a chance to update until now.
Heroes Con was lots of fun. I met many of my favorite artists, got sketches, signatures, and bought a bunch of sketchbooks and really cheap comics. The area of Charlotte where the convention was held was also really impressive.
Meeting artists and possibly snagging a sketch from them is always the best part of any convention. At Heroes, I had the chance to meet Tommy Lee Edwards(www.tommyleeedwards.com), Andrew Robinson (http://www.nextexitproductions.net/), Ed Mcguinness, Mike Wieringo (www.mikewieringo.com), Cully Hamner (www.gaijinstudios.com), Travis Charest (http://groups.msn.com/travischarest), Bill Sienkiewicz (http://www.billsienkiewicz.com/) and more. So much talent in one place! Truly well worth the trip.
Enjoy the fresh sketches. Just some fun doodles and experiments. I'll post some of the pro sketches I got at Heroes in my next entry.
