Jack Skellington sneeks onto my sketch pages once in a while as I am a fan of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and Tim Burton in general. You can see a sloppy version of Jack here in the lower left corner of this collection of sketches. He was originally next to a very basic version of the Mayor character from the film but I clipped him and placed him on another sketch page that may turn up on here at some point. This Jack was done on the fly from memory so it's a little inaccurate but basically my vision of Jack at the moment I drew it.

The other colorful characters plopped about this page are just random exports of my imagination. I do have intentions for some of them though. They may turn up in some illustrated stories at one time or another. I hope to share some comic strips and more finished work on this blog in the near future.

Looking at this page now I notice there are a lot of eyes of all shapes and sizes running through the page and several of the characters seem to be looking in the same direction at the same phantom object off-page. Interesting.
